Our Mission
At Free Market Institute, we are committed to research and education about free market concepts as the steps to wealth in all countries.
Current Activities
We are doing research on two new books. One a history of steelworkers and the steel industry in the Chicago-Gary area. The other which will be a biography of one of Chicago's rebels -- political leader Ed Vrdolyak -- who came from Chicago's industrial heart.
We are also forming a new organization. It is the Steelworkers History Project. The purpose of this organization will be to research and preserve the history of steelworkers in the Calumet Region of Chicago.
